Opening Song: Notebook #71 The Old Rugged Cross

L: Tonight we celebrate the eternal love of God for all creation in that God made the ultimate sacrifice to save us from eternal death. We give God Glory!

A: We give God glory and praise and honor and thanksgiving for loving us so much that God gave His Only Begotten Son so that whosoever should believe on Him will not perish but have eternal life. Alleluia!

L: We also celebrate a first time event in the sacred story of Ray Of Hope Church tonight.

A: Yes Lord, tonight our Congregation is praying simultaneously from all three locations. We offer our prayers from Syracuse, Ithaca and Elmira as a blanket of praise across Central New York. Prophetically we offer You our prayers tonight as a testimony that someday there will be Ray Of Hope Church in Oswego, Syracuse, Ithaca, and Binghamton, NY. All to your glory and honor, all in praise of Your love for us. Hear us as we pray in unity as one Congregation in three places tonight. Amen.

L: To those who are perishing the cross is foolishness.

A: But to those who are being saved it is power of eternal life.

L: We begin our celebration then,

A: In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

L: Let us pray.

A: We come to you, O God, this night to give you praise and glory for all you did for us through Christ Jesus Our Lord. Open our hearts now to meditate on the sacred mystery of the sacrifice of the Cross where Jesus shed His blood in obedience to you as you requested because you love us with an everlasting love. We ask this in the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Song: G&P # 368 Were You There

Take a journey through the passion and death of Jesus as told by the centuries old fourteen meditations called the Stations Of The Cross. Presented by Mother Angelica and EWTN. This is not the version we used in worship service, however, this is an excellent version of the Stations on the internet.

A: And also with you.
